BAGGAGE POLICY

At ASAP Reservation, we strive to provide our clients with exceptional travel experiences. However, we want to make sure that our clients are fully aware of the terms and conditions that apply to all of our services. Please read the following terms & conditions carefully before booking any travel services with us.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

Baggage allowances and limits differ depending on the mode of transportation (yacht, train, or flight). Passengers are responsible for reviewing their booking confirmation for specific baggage limits and taxes, as different service providers may have different regulations. Any oversized, overweight, or extra baggage may be subject to additional costs, which must be paid before departure.

FLIGHT BAGGAGE POLICY

Passengers on flights are frequently permitted to bring one carry bag and one personal item, such as a handbag or laptop bag. The quality carry-on dimensions are 22 x 14 x 9 inches, with weight limits ranging from 7 to 10 kilograms (15 to 22 pounds), depending on the airline. Checked luggage limitations vary by airline and ticket class, but standard checked baggage weight limits range from 20 to 32 kilograms per bag. Overweight or overweight baggage may result in additional penalties, and certain goods, such as flammable substances, weapons, and large lithium batteries, are legally prohibited.

TRAIN BAGGAGE POLICY

Passengers traveling by train typically can bring one large suitcase and one small personal bag without additional fees. Baggage should fit into the allocated storage places or overhead compartments. Some high-speed or luxury trains may offer larger baggage allowances. However, transporting big luggage, sports equipment, bicycles, or musical instruments may necessitate prior approval or an additional price. Hazardous materials, guns, and illegal narcotics are strictly prohibited on board.

YACHT BAGGAGE POLICY

Passengers booking yachts are encouraged to travel light because storage capacity is often restricted. Most yachts allow 1-2 small bags per person, and it is best to use soft-sided bags instead of hard-shell suitcases for better storage. Personal snorkeling, diving, or fishing equipment may be permitted, but make sure in advance. To protect passenger safety, firearms, illegal narcotics, and dangerous goods are outright banned.

LOST OR DAMAGED BAGGAGE

Passengers must report any lost or damaged baggage promptly upon arrival. If compensation is applicable, it will be determined by the service provider's terms and conditions.

  • Compensation: Compensation for lost, delayed, or damaged baggage is subject to the airline's policies and international regulations. It is important to retain all receipts for any necessary purchases made due to delayed baggage as these may be required for reimbursement claims.
BAGGAGE TIPS

Labeling: Clearly label all baggage with your name, contact information, and destination address. This can help ensure your luggage is returned to you if it is lost.

Packing: Distribute the weight of your items evenly within your bags and avoid overpacking. This can help prevent baggage damage and ensure compliance with airline weight restrictions.

Valuables: Always carry essential items like medication, travel documents, electronics, and valuables in your carry-on baggage.

ADDITIONAL FEES & OTHER SUGGESTIONS

Extra baggage charges vary by provider; items such as wheelchairs, medical equipment, or pets must be pre-approved. If passengers have any issues with extra luggage or special requests, they can ask our customer service team.
