ABOUT-KANSAS

Iowa

Kansas State is famous for everything a tremendous American gateway could ever need, including a thriving dining scene, a stellar collection of museums, and many historical landmarks. Kansas is known for beef and Dorothy's No Place Like Home in the classic children's book and film. And for its vast expanses of prairie. Kansas was the most productive agricultural state, producing high wheat, corn, sorghum, and soybean yields. Kansas is derived from the Algonquian term Akansa for the Quapaw people. An indigenous tribe of Native Americans recognized by the federal government, the Kaw people, are the origin of the stem kansa.
