Maryland is famous for its blue crabs and the city of Baltimore, a significant historic trading post, baseball destination, and birthplace of the national anthem. Ocean City Beach
Ocean City Beach is known for its miles of sandy beaches, lively boardwalks, and exciting water sports. Thomas Fenwick obtained the land on which the city was built and much of the surrounding area. The ocean city of Inlet was formed during a significant hurricane in 1933, which also destroyed the train tracks across Sinepuxent Bay.
